Challenge Campaigns

Some of the greatest fundraisers are those you create from the ground up. Create your own bike/run/walk, swim-a-thon, or golf tournament. Organize a music festival and sell tickets. There is no limit to what we can do together!

FUNdraising for a cause!

Member events are the International Myeloma Foundation’s grassroots fundraising program. There are many creative ways that members can help raise awareness and funding for myeloma research, education, support, and advocacy in your community.

We have been collaborating with familes just like yours for nearly twenty years, guiding them in creating their own fundraisers for the cause. Fundraisers can be as easy as hosting a bake sale or afternoon luncheon, and as elaborate as a golf tournament! Anyone can participate – we have had members from eight to eighty get involved!

Explore these pages to find events in your areas – we encourage our members to support existing fundraisers as well as create their own! For more ideas on fundraising events, read the latest issue of Making Miracles – a newsletter inspired by our members!

We are with you every step of the way! Click “Learn More” to find out how to create your own member event, or contact Suzanne Battaglia, our Director of Member Events for more information.

 Member Event Spotlight

Ron and Sheree Pask were inspired to organize the 1st Annual Miracles for Myeloma Run/Walk last year after Shelly's 2007 diagnosis. To raise myeloma awareness, the event organizers recruited myeloma medical professionals to speak before the 5K. “This wasn’t just a race,” Sheree Pask explained. “It was an opportunity to educate people and help them understand the positive advances we’ve been seeing in the myeloma world.”
The 2nd Annual Miracles for Myeloma Walk/Run is scheduled for September 27, 2014.
